EVAAS Roster Verification Information for K-2 Teachers:
NCDPI does plan to use assessment data from TRC for determining student growth measures for K-2 teachers in the 2014-15 school year. Please advise your schools that K-2 teacher rosters should not be deleted from the roster verification system. All teachers (including K-2 teachers) must validate their student rosters to ensure accuracy in determining student growth. If teachers and administrators do not validate rosters, the default position is that the teacher is responsible for 100% of the instruction of the students who are on record in PowerSchool. Neither NCDPI nor SAS-EVAAS will be able to correct rosters for teachers after the roster verification phase has closed. Posted 4.20.15

Quick Start Guide- Roster Verification is simply a way for teachers to verify their class rosters and allow schools and teachers to indicate when there are multiple professionals sharing responsibility for a student’s instruction. It is important that rosters are accurate because EVAAS uses them, along with test scores, to generate Teacher Value-Added reports.
